Girls’ Weekend

With Marc off on his HireStarter (thankfully) annual “We-Made-Our-Numbers!” trip, the girls and I were on our own this weekend, and we definitely made the most of it!

First order of business was pumpkins. I was hoping to take the girls out into the country to do it all with hay bails, horse rides and corn mazes, but my stupid back wasn’t going to allow it. Luckily there is a perfectly adorable “pumpkin patch” 5 blocks from our house! This was made much more exciting because we went with Charlie Thornburgh (and safer because Natalee came along in case my back gave out mid-walk) And thankfully, I hadn’t mentioned the horses beforehand 🙂IMG_0137
