Friday was a VERY good day in the Davis house, because we finally got to see these (new and improved) tootsies again!
Clementine was not thrilled with the cast-removal process (loud, scary drills) but the doc was very happy with how her toes looked. They are not perfect but are DEFINITELY straighter than they were, and he feels pretty confident that she won’t need another surgery — and won’t even care to look till our little nugget is 6 years old! Maybe it was the fact that it finally cooled off into “Autumn” (translation – under 100 degrees), and that we spent a ton of time hanging outside (here Clementine escapes to try to free her best toddler bud Charlie next door):
Our Four.8 year old has had such an exciting month! From extreme cousin time to boogie boarding, carnivals, dips in the lake, and being reunited with her dress-up box and other prized possessions in Austin, there is no doubt that it’ll go down in the books as one of her favorites.
